Giới thiệu

 IntroductionMy main researches are microorganisms involved in biological metal corrosion, polluted treatment and bioenergy. Sulfate reducing bacteria are commonly considered the main culprits of microbially influenced corrosion under anoxic conditions (e.g. in oil pipelines, wells).  We isolated some anaerobic sulfate reducing bacteria such as Desulfovibrio desulfuricans DH3P, Anaerobaculum hydrogeniformans D914 … from Vungtau gas oil wells. These strains are able to degrade crude oil, resulting in more harmful effects to petroleum industry. We also focus on biological polluted treatment of black carbon, the second contributor to global warming just after CO2. We already isolated some aerobic bacterial strains belonged to Bacillus and Lactobacillus from Halong bay. These bacteria showed the capacity of black carbon degradation. The last but not least, we also pay much attention on biohydrogen production. Some hydrogen producing strains such as Clostridium sp. Tr2 and Thermoanaerobacterium aciditolerans Trau DAt have highly potential in application to biohydrogen production.
