According to the results of this study, only 54.2% of nursing students have correct knowledge about safe injections. In which, the lowest rate is “unsafe injection causing the spread of bloodborne diseases, accounting for 3.8%”. The group “No need to check drug quality before injection” accounted for the highest rate of 92.8%. And the group “Hepatitis B virus not transmitted through needles” accounted for 91.3%. There is an association between correct
knowledge and proper safe injection practices of study subjects. Students with correct knowledge will have correct practice of safe injection 2,010 times higher than subjects without correct knowledge, and this difference is statistically significant p = 0.014 (p < 0 .05).
